It’s very difficult to choose a favourite place when there are so many I consider favourites. Each unique, enclosing exclusive memories of their own! So to narrow it down, I have chosen a place that is close to home. My hometown Melbourne, is an extraordinary city to live in, and we are very blessed to have so many glorious beaches right on our doorstep. Each Summer, our family heads down to the Mornington Peninsula. Some Summers, we stay for a week, others may only be for a day trip, but whenever we visit this relaxing region of the state, we always make sure we spend time at McCrae beach. It’s our favourite spot to spend a warm sunny day, basking in the sun and swimming in the cool water of the bay. It’s also extra special, as we usually spend this time together with our close friends, creating rewarding and unforgettable memories.
Thank you McCrae beach, for yielding your beauty and harmony each moment we encounter your presence. We are truly grateful 🙂

oh My you visit right near me. I love Capel Sound as its only a 5 minute walk (even with a walking stick). We go down there every evening around 7pm and take the dogs. Also again we head there in the morning. Its so peaceful and if we are quick enough we catch the sunset xx…

I knew you guys were around there somewhere. Capel is lovely too. It’s such a different feel to the city life altogether. Sooo lucky Bree to have that peaceful surrounding. Xx

This place looks so peaceful, Lorelle! I would definitely love to visit it ❤ For us it is Cancun in Mexico like that… Not the busy Cancun as many people think of, but we have a place there, mainly for locals with full of positive energy and traditional food without any foreign influence yet…

Gorgeous, peaceful beaches Lorelle. For me any beach with sand firm enough to walk on, and I’m as happy as a pig in mud.

It’s the very reason why I live 2 minutes walk from the beach, Lorelle. My early morning walks with the dogs are wonderful with the sound of the waves in my ears. Come rain or shine, we visit the beach every day (even in the snow).

What a wonderful lifestyle choice Hugh. I always think, when my kids grow up I would want to have that same lifestyle too. 😉

You’re right, it is so difficult to choose a single favourite place. I would need a lot of time to come up with an answer, and even then I don’t know if I could. This beach is nice, and I like the little beach houses.
