Friendly Friday photo challenge hosted at Manja Mexi Moving and Something to Ponder About, delivers the theme “Abandoned “ this week.
Just as Amanda stated on her post, “one can still find beauty in things that are abandoned“.
This photo was taken Te Awanga beach, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
It was one of those days where we had the entire beach to ourselves, and then discovered this abandoned teepee made from logs and branches. I’m sure this cosy little hut could tell some interesting stories!

Such an interesting thing to see on the beach. It would be fun to hear the back story.

The Kiwifruit capital of the world is in the other ‘Bay’ – Bay of Plenty – which also calls itself the Fruit Bowl of New Zealand. Pip and stone fruits are the stars of Hawkes Bay.
