Friendly Friday photo challenge hosted at The Snow Melts Somewhere and Something to Ponder About, delivers the theme “Ebb & Flow “ this week.
Ebb and Flow, can represent the movement of water.
To me it symbolises the movement of life. We come and go following life’s tide along the way.
These photos taken in Hoi An, Vietnam portray the importance of water to the people of this city. These picturesque canals and elaborate bridges unite the past, present and future of the progressive Hoi An.
I remember sitting contently for a while, acknowledging the ebb and flow of the intensity of tourists around me, yet taking comfort in the gentle ebb and flow of the soothing Hoai River before me.

There is something soothing about the sound of water, isn’t there, Lorelle? Perfect pic for the prompt for the Friendly Friday photo challenge.

There sure is. It always calms me, even though I can’t swim!! Odd isn’t it? 😉
