It really is. I remember hiring a car and driving the extremely winding road to get there. But it was all worth it in the end. Beautiful coastlines in Maui.

Yes one needs to be prepared with medication to avoid motion sickness ..The views are indeed spectacular.

Yes it does look gorgeous, but I’m with Jonno – not sure about that black sand. It used to be normal tome when I lived in NZ but now Im used to white or golden beaches. On my recent trip to NZ the dark grey sandy beaches looked like garden soil.
