“Amore”… the Italian word for love, and in this months Dolce Vita Link Up, the theme is “Romance in Italy”.
For me, Italy will always symbolise love, and for many different reasons. Rome, Venice and Verona, all romantic cities in their own unique ways.
The elegant seaside town of Positano though, exudes romance.
Dreamy clifftop views and Mediterranean sunset vistas from chic hotels and restaurants, ensure romance is in the air.
Evening spritzes accompany crunchy “frutti di mare”, while the pleasant fragrance of lemon in the air generates a gentle dizziness within.
Glorious evening sunsets on the terrace, a spectacular palette of colours. Love is all around and for all. From honeymooners to families to elderly couples, Positano sparkles with romance like a fresh glass of champagne.
“Cin Cin” to Positano.
Have you visited Positano in Romantic Italy?

Beautiful photos. Positano is such a picturesque romantic town, in fact the whole Amalfi Coast is simply stunning. Would love to go back someday.

Absolutely Jonno. Simply stunning. Though the peak summer season can get quite crowded though!

Yeah it’s a bit too busy in the summer so Autumn may be best to go, still fairly warm then but the crowds have gone.

Thanks Gavin. That feature one I must admit was from the WP Gallery. The other 3 are mine taken over 20 years ago in Positano. A long long time ago 😂

I’m trying to remember how many years since we were there, but I can still picture us standing in the bay, looking up. 🙂 🙂

I know Jo. It’s a distant memory for us too. Distant but a fond memory for sure.

I went past Positano on the ferry from Amalfi to Salerno when I was 16! Does that count? My Zia lives in Salerno so I’ve been to the Amalfi Coast quite a few times, but haven’t stopped in Salerno. It looks very pretty and definitely romantic. Ciao, Cristina

I know right. I’ll never forget the buses driving along that one way road around those cliffs. I know they know that route like the back of their hands but still. Heart is in the mouth sometimes!! 😂
All good here too lovely. X

Great pics! Positano is breathtaking in photos I can only imagine in person! I really hope to visit there someday soon! Maybe not in the summer when it’s overflowing with tourists but the fall would probably be ideal!

I am OBSESSED with Positano. I’ve only been twice, once with my husband when we were dating and another time with one of my good girlfriends. It’s funny because the time with my girlfriend, we went to eat at a restaurant and sat outside and there wasn’t anything particular but the entire atmosphere of the place was just super romantic and we kept giggling because we felt like we were on a date! Thanks for joining us! #DolceVitaBloggers per sempre!

Ciao Lorelle! Definitely agree, Positano is one romantic city! I’ve had one of the best seafood meals there and the best time just floating in the sea looking up at those gorgeous views. Thank you for joining #DolceVitaBloggers!
