Hotel Review: Palm Garden Resort & Spa, Hoi An, Vietnam

 

The ancient city of Hoi An attracts many tourists each day and can be quite a busy city to stay within. So, if you are after a more relaxing stay in Hoi An with a hint of serenity just a stone’s throw away from the bustling city, Palm Garden Resort and Spa is the place for you.

This five-star hotel situated only 5km away from the infectious Hoi An, and 30km away from Da Nang International airport, sits on the beautiful Cua Dai Beach.

Bask in the glorious sun on the wooden daybeds overlooking the white sanded beaches that lead to clear blue waters beyond. This popular stretch of beach lined with stunning palms is a tropical oasis and a perfect place where yoga can be experienced daily allowing total mindfulness.

Palm Garden’s calm atmosphere is contagious. From the moment you arrive, the tranquil gardens and ambience will immediately alleviate any stress you may carry.

The pristine gardens meticulously manicured by a multitude of attentive gardeners in their traditional Vietnamese attire, are a delight. The five-hectare grounds of this tropical paradise would astound any green thumb. With over 400 species of plants, you will find a mixture of banana and coconut trees, palms, ferns, cycads and of course beautiful frangipani.

Wooden bridges, pretty ponds and delicate stone ornaments dispersed throughout the grounds combined with native Vietnamese flora and fauna enhance this Garden of Eden. The green open grassed areas surrounding the central large pool are ideal for yoga or simply for kids (or adults!) to run around barefoot on and have fun.

A wide range of land and water activities are available and Kids Club is also offered.

Complimentary 5-10-minute shuttle rides to Hoi An city are a convenient way to reach the bustling city. Alternatively, you can rent a bicycle from the resort and cycle your way through the local neighbourhood or through the nearby endless rice fields. Either way this centrally located resort caters for all and presents an experience to remember.

This open-air restaurant, designed in the shape of a traditional boat sits right on the beach, surrounded by the gardens settings. Colibri offers Italian and seafood specialties.

The lush surroundings are also the perfect place to hold functions, such as: fresh BBQ seafood buffets, themed dinners or a wedding reception.

THE WESSIA – Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant

The first Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant in Hoi An, offering Japanese cuisine such as teppanyaki, sushi, and sashimi.

CONTINO BAR

The perfect place to relax and savor an exotic drink before or after a delicious dinner. Complement this with a performance of live music by the house band playing soothing and relaxing music.

My Thoughts

Palm Garden Resort & Spa is a slice of heaven. A perfect to unwind yet still be close enough to discover the nearby historical sites and attractions.  A picturesque estate with friendly staff, great fresh food and attentive service, compel me to happily recommend this five-star resort.
