What a great review you wrote for the paper … good luck with that as I hope you will be a regular columnist. I know a few people in Melbourne so I will be sure to share your brilliance with them!!! Xx

I’m very good. Exploring a little further south in the US for a few days …. not too far – Baltimore and Washington DC but full of delight and a different personality entirely to New England. X

Lovely piece, Lorelle. Are you channelling the foodie in you to write reviews regularly now? It is the best job in the world 🙂 Is that roti riser dish a cousin of the Kottu Roti? xx

Thanks Arundhati. I sure am. Weekend Notes is all about discovering your local city. And what better way to do that than writing about and supporting my local foodie businesses. I love getting to know the people behind the cafes and restaurants and of course sampling their delicious food! I’ve even started publishing my recipes for an online recipe company! Who knows where it will lead me. 🤞😊
Yes, it is. That’s the roti underneath the sambol, curry and egg. It’s not shredded though like the kottu roti. Simply delicious, you’d love it! ❤️

I have just read your full article and I am drooling – not a good idea to read a foodie review just before lunch! Great review, the food, coffe & toffee looks amazing – I am sure they will be a huge success!

Ooh! You are so fortunate to have a Sri Lankan place in the neighbourhood! We have to travel to HK to eat at our favourite place in Sai Kung!
