1. Hike from at least one town to another…
2. Eat a gelato… buonissimo…
3. Have a swim or dip you feet into the cool crystal waters on the Ligurian Coast…
4. Feast on these crispy fried seafood snacks (Frutti di Mare) of freshly caught local seafood…
5. And last but not least, ENJOY the beauty and the charm of the Cinque Terre…

@ofteaandengland,
why was that? Because it was all booked out, overcrowded, maybe? Cinque Terre has been high on our list for years and every year we read that more and more people come, thus restrictions?
Best regards,
Dina

For us Dina, the path between Riomaggiore and Manarola was closed due to unsteady cliffs. But I’ve heard these paths have been closed for quite some time now. Not exactly sure why this is the case???? 🤔

Unfortunately we went to Cinque Terre on a (ridiculously) short day trip and the tour only took us to 3 of the towns BUT if I had realised how beautiful they were I’d have stayed at least 3-4 days! Oh well, just an excuse to go back hehe 😉 xx
